KEMIPLAS - Chemical industry & Trade has its head office in Koper, Republic of Slovenia, situated on the Adriatic coast (The Port of Koper) and close to the Italian border. This is an ideal location for the transit of goods an good ideas. KEMIPLAS has a long tradition in the production of plastic products (since 1949), dispersions and adhesives (since 1960), DOP-Dioctylphthalate (1969), Anhydride of Phtalic Acid PA (since 1975), Anhydride of Maleic Acid MA (1986), and has even introduced new programmes for the production of PET-preforms (in 1998) and windscreen cleaner (1999).

Today, KEMIPLAS is present on three continents with a variety of programmes. Improvement and spreading of programmes is our permanent orientation and that is the reason why the largest part of our highly qualified staff has been permanently engaged in the researches of advanced, new technologies and products regarding market needs. A special attention is paid to the environmental protection. And that is why we are always in contact with governmental and non-governmental institutions and authorities in that field.

KEMIPLAS has close cooperative connections with many foreign partners from various European countries in the form of joint-venture, commercial cooperation, joint research work and marketing, the most important being BASF Aktienngesellschaft, WECKER-Chemie, SHELL Chemicals Europe, etc.
